Our Advanced Non-Fiction Book Course** is designed to guide you through to the final word of your manuscript, under the tutelage of one of our multi-award winning writers.
If you require the support and feedback of a mentor, this course will help you complete your book within one to two years. There is no theoretical component to this course; it is structured entirely around the material that you are working on.
** Please note that this course is only open to graduates of our Write a Non-Fiction Book Course.
What You’ll Master on Advanced Non-Fiction Book Course
- Complete a manuscript of approximately 65 000 words
- Hold your reader’s attention all the way through
- Maintain logical flow throughout your manuscript
- Edit your manuscript
- Prepare a book proposal and present it to a publisher (optional)
The assignments consist of seven text instalments with feedback, four read-throughs of edits and two detailed manuscript assessments.
If your manuscript runs over 65,000 words, we will charge £100.00 per additional 5,000 words assessed.

Task 11: Edit the final quarter of your manuscript and submit (approximately 16 500 words)

Task 12: Accept/reject changes on full manuscript: proofread; add final comments to self; submit final manuscript for assessment.
For continuity, you will work with the tutor who taught you on the Write a Non-Fiction Book course.
