Fiona Walsh

Fiona Walsh has an MA in Communications from City University, London and over 20 years’ experience working in publicity and media writing, including as publicity manager for the English National Ballet and head of press for the National Theatre in London.

She currently freelances for clients including SundanceTV, National Theatre Live, NBCUniversal and the Joburg Ballet. She worked for several years as a freelance arts writer in London and currently writes for Channel24.co.za and Screen Africa. She has contributed articles to Creative Feel magazine, the Workplace supplement in The Star, and The Irish Times. She has also written and edited annual reports, website content and newsletters – both print and online – for a variety of clients.

She returned to the National Theatre in London for a year in 2012 as communications manager, responsible for managing broadcast, print, online and social media content around the NT’s involvement in the 2012 Cultural Olympiad during the Olympic Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. On her return to South Africa, she worked as an account director for Total Exposure PR, managing a team responsible for six BBC TV channels.

I carried out following steps to optimise the website speed: 1. Used a plugin "WebP Converter for Media" which definitely helps in converting all types of images to a compressed file in .webp format. 2. There were some .js scripts set as render-blocking script in Wp-Rocket settings, which was making page speed slow. Have removed those scripts. 3. Changed image loading (lazy loading) settings in wp-rocket.

Dianne Tipping-Woods

Dianne Tipping-Woods is an award-winning journalist. She has more than 10 years experience as a freelance writer working for a wide range of clients and publications. These include the UK’s Department for International Development, WWF-USA and WWF-SA, and Facebook. She has also done work in print and online for, Wild Magazine, AA Traveller, Africa Geographic, Getaway, Women & Home, Wildlife Magazine, BBC, Mail & Guardian and more.
